Assembly and care · 5 minute guide
Before the first screw: an assembly checklist.
Prepare the space, exact instructions and anchoring plan before unpacking everything.
Confirm the article and all packages
Match the article number on every package to your order and the correct assembly document. Some cabinets ship in more than one carton. Inspect accessible packaging damage and follow the retailer’s reporting process if parts arrive damaged; do not improvise a repair to a structural part.
Read before you clear the floor
Review the full manufacturer instructions for tools, people, sequence and wall attachment. Prepare a work area that lets you follow those instructions without blocking a doorway. Do not assume a cabinet can be assembled upright, moved alone or tipped safely because another model could.
Choose wall fixing from the actual wall
Follow the manufacturer’s directions for the wall type and fixing system. IKEA’s pages for the listed cabinets require secure anchoring and suitable screws and plugs; uncertain wall construction calls for qualified advice. Our site does not select fasteners from a room photograph.
Finish with the manufacturer’s checks
Complete every adjustment and attachment step in the correct instructions before use. Keep the article number and documents accessible for future moves and recall checks. The printable delivery worksheet gives you a place to collect these details, rather than inventing a universal assembly procedure.
